If we define success as the achievement of a desired goal, it would be safe to say that Joseph Palella has been successful in his endeavor. The Prodigy endeavor. Denise, his wife of 18 years, always predicted Joe would be the right person to develop and nurture such an establishment as Prodigy Learning Center. Together, in 1987 they acquired Prodigy, which had been established in 1986 by the DelPrete family of Bayonne.  Joe began to realize from the early days of Prodigy, that he had found his vocation. Through the years, by meticulously assembling and training an excellent staff, Prodigy has developed and maintained a level of indispensable service to the community of Bayonne.

Joseph was born in Italy, where he also grew up as a teenager. He attended and graduated from the "Carlo Cattaneo College of Business" in Milan. In 1972 his family transferred to the United States (North Brunswick NJ). Joe finished his schooling by doing graduate work at Middlesex County College and at Rutgers University.  In 1981 Joseph met Denise. They were married in 1986, and are raising two children. Nina who is 17, and Richard who is 14. Both Nina and Richard are Prodigy graduates.
